Who Am I ?

My name is Cristian Borchi. They say I’m a renowned Tuscan chef, celebrated for my dedication to authentic Italian cuisine rooted in tradition. Sure, I own “Locanda L’Antica Porta di Levante” and “Passaquai”, two well known restaurants in the Mugello Valley, and it’s also true that I’m big on fresh, local ingredients and the Slow Food movement. I’ve even had the chance to showcase my skills internationally, like at Sorrentina by Foodhall in Mumbai…

But let’s be real—what I’m really about is simple: I’m just a big fan of good food, simplicity, and the experiences our beautiful land has to offer!

Our Place !

Our villa is located near Vicchio, is a quintessential Tuscan agriturismo that offers guests an authentic experience of the Mugello region. We are surrounded by lush greenery, rolling hills, and centuries-old woods, creating the perfect setting for a peaceful and rustic getaway. The interiors, as showcased in the images, reflect a blend of traditional Tuscan architecture with a warm, welcoming ambiance. With spaces like a cozy kitchen and a charming courtyard, the villa embodies the essence of simple, yet refined rural living.

Vicchio itself is rich in history and culture, known as the birthplace of Giotto, one of the most famous painters of the Italian Renaissance, and Beato Angelico, another celebrated figure in the world of art. Its proximity to Florence makes it a great destination for those seeking the tranquillity of the countryside without straying too far from the artistic heart of Tuscany.
